Mr Nicholas Lee is a UK-trained and accredited Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a specialist interest in facial reconstruction. He is currently based at the Royal National Ear, Nose and Throat and Eastman Dental Hospital, London, having previously served for over fourteen years as a Consultant Surgeon at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

His clinical practice encompasses orthognathic (jaw) surgery, patient-specific facial implants, oral surgery (including wisdom tooth removal and complex extractions), and the management of adult and paediatric facial trauma.

Nicholas undertook his specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in London, rotating through St George’s Hospital, Northwick Park Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, University College Hospital, and the Eastman Dental Hospital.

He subsequently completed an NHS Training Interface Fellowship in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and St John’s Hospital, Bruges, Belgium.

Nicholas passed the Specialist Fellowship Examination in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd OMFS) in 2009 and entered the GMC Specialist Register in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2010. He is also listed on the GDC Specialist Register in Oral Surgery.

Nicholas is a leading expert in the management of facial deformity and runs orthognathic clinics (jaw surgery) with orthodontic colleagues.

He is also the lead-investigator on the ongoing project, “Patient Experiences of Adapting to Life Following Orthognathic Surgery for Facial Asymmetry, funded by British Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons”.
